Reviews for "Winning The War"

Impressive

I imagine a small file of warriors looking upon a field of battle. Already in conflict, the two armies clash with mind numbing clangs of steel against steel and thundering sounds of roaring and screaming men. The file of warriors whisper among themselves as they look on. Their commander stands impervious to all this and examines the battle with the concentration of a god. One of his subordinates, a young man no younger than 20, finally has the courage to come up to his commander and asks, "Why are we here sir?" The commander stands there as his subordinates stand nervously listening to the sounds of battle. after what seemed an eternity, the commander finally speaks in a low voice which startles the men. " To change the war." he replies as he charges down the field. Then the men look at each other understanding that although they are small, they can change the course of the war. Suddenly the men scream out, drawing their swords and waving them in the air. Their enemies cry out in terror as they charge down the field with their commander in the head of this roaring tide. The swarm of enemies slowly retreat as this new threat approaches. No longer weary, the allies of the commander and his small file of troops attack with renewed vigor. A man separated from all this chaos watches as the file of troops attack, demolishing and destroying everything in sight. The man smiles and turns away with a tear in his eyes, thinking his kingdom safe due to the bravery of his son and the son's troops.

A short story

P.S. Hey Dan, I hoped you liked my story!

War

Winning the war is a good name for this. This makes you want to win. It makes you want to win by the largest margin you can possibly win. It also protrays the want to be a hero, like in the movie Armaggedon. Being a hero can come at a great lose or gain, but either way you want it so much you can feel and taste it.

only 1 word can describe this

asome!^_^

Wow...

You had me voting five at the beginning! I love your work, and i'd like to make songs myself, i've been asking around for the best one, and seeing what you can do, makes me love your song maker, i'd love to learn the name (Hold on, turning down bass, my windows are shaking!!! Seriously, no joke...) Sorry, but ive just got to say this... TONIGHT! WE DINE! IN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh wow, man.

5/5, 10/10
At the beginning, it sounds like something in the opera "Notre-Dame de Paris", which has wonderfully powerful music.

does sound like the end of the final battle of a war...the melancholy in it is perfect...victorious troops marching home, but so many dead.

That is gorgeous.
