Reviews for "Dimlight"

Hmmm

I will start off by saying, certain aspects of this animation make it better than the rest, but also the things it lacks pulls it farther from my expectations. The fact that it didn't just focus on the "lame sparkles" joke was good enough to make me keep watching. It had material, fresh material, to interest me even more. But the over used mouths on Edward were somewhat disappointing. The Bella was gold, showing the enthusiasm that any tween girl would have made when seeing Edward, and having it's own animation, rather than recycled tweens of the same mouth over and over again. But I have to agree with a fellow Nergrounder. The twilight parodies should be done for now. There is only so much you can do to a poorly written movie. The fact that there is another movie coming out is not another excuse. This has no hints whatsoever about it being in the second movie. Let's make some fresh ideas, Newgrounds.

ugh

we know twilight parodies, this is like the 50th, one... 5/10, for the girls voice acting,

Ok...

Idk about this entry didn't really find it that funny, but the animation was really good and also I despise twilight greatly so this isn't coming from sombody who's pissy from a twilight parody

wow

Wow okay this was an okay parody of Twilight. But in my opinion Bobert and Nathaniel Jones have the best Twilight parodies. But I will give some advice. Even if you think that Edward was completely monotonous with his voice don't make him in your flashes, for the girl she sounded too much like a guy to be convincing that the person voicing her was a girl. The only funny part in my opinion is when Bella went down on Edward and he was going Ow Ow ow and at the end when Bella went "Ow he got sparkles in my eye." I hope i haven't been too harsh.

Yeah, Okay

Even though I actually liked the Twilight series, I will admit that Stephenie Meyer definitely left the door wide open for spoofs, cheap shots, and just generally being made fun of. That being said, poking some fun at even the most wide-open story does require some creativity, which I really feel this lacked. It got long in places, the dialogue could use some work, and while the dick joke itself was pretty funny ("Can I suck your dick?" ".... okay.") the actual scene was a bit much. It got a few chuckles from me ("I have soiled your perfect foot! I no longer deserve to live!"), but a barrel of laughs this wasn't. It felt more like poking fun at a way-too-easy target just to poke fun, not really because you wanted to point out something ridiculous or had something creative to share. And, let's face it, Twilight spoofs are a dime a dozen anymore. If you're going to shoot fish in a barrel, at least be creative about it.

Bogswallop responds:

Well I don't see any Twilight spoofs with dick sucking. Did you??????????????
