Baby Smashings the only thing hat saved that... Otherwise im sorry but i loved that game, just had one down side, you could play it once and never need to play it again :P

doctormario responds:

There's always room for baby smashing.

Woww......

This was the most.... awesome thing I've seen all day love the creativity haha =] Loved shadow of the collosus and I love this too =P thanks for your work it was awesome to watch

doctormario responds:

Thank you very much.

Meh.

It had it's moments, very good drawn, nice animation and quality but I didn't like the voice acting, he sounds like a 13-year old smartass punk.
Nice!

doctormario responds:

Thanks.

fucking hilarious

"Thanx for nothing asshole"

Where do we begin... (And I know. Why so serious?)

Mkay.. Well, let's begin by saying, I have absolutely no credentials since I just made this account. Don't pat yourself on the back, thinking that you made something so good/bad that I had to make an account, it just happens that I made one tonight.

Now on the other hand. I just can't help but start a few commentaries upon here, unfortunately considering this is the internet. My comment is most likely going to be completely unimportant and a waste of my own time and I'm inciting people to bash me. Hopefully it'll be entertaining. (Alternatively, a good point of attack is telling me that I think I'm pretty high and mighty to warrant being flamed or listened to, or for having even mentionning it, etc)

Onward to the actual REVIEW... Actually, consider it more of a Criticism:

Let's begin by your high points.

Your drawings were quite wonderful, very detailed, at least the unanimated parts.

The music was nice, though a straight port of the game and rather subdued under the voice acting.

And that's where we start going downhill..

The animation, let's begin there. Though you do not seem to have a lot under your belt, it's better then what I could make, certainly so. Though the animation is a bit shoddy at times. As well as rather simplistic in motion, in animation. The squeezing down effect shows what could've been a few shortcuts. Perhaps it's the extent of your current skills, though most likely this isn't a large project (I hope), but rather an attempt at humor.

We'll touch that last word later. Next, let's go for the voice acting.

It's... Mediocre. It's alright, I've heard better, I've heard worse, way worse. Waaay worse, even from professional companies (Castle Shikigami 2, for PS2, anyone?) But nevertheless, though the choice of voices could have been amusing, we come at an impass.

The text. The jokes. The... well... 'jokes'. Now, I enjoy a good dick joke, fart joke, scat joke, vulgar, dirty, sexy, raunchy joke, every now and again. Fuck, I'm a big fan of George Carlin. But your jokes.... lacked timing. Finesse, even in vulgarity. Impact.. Most of all, originality as well.

These sort of jokes are jokes anyone could come up with in half a minute of mindlessness while looking at the game in a poor attempt to lift the mood of the gamer with an inappropriate comment. And with the choice of voice, it sounds as if it's one of your more annoying 'friends' commenting as well. So there's a certain ear grating/ignoring it quality that adds itself to the performance.

There's a lack of wit, the stating of the obvious lacks the appropriate timing. The expressions are too poor and the voice acting too weak in power to properly propel what could've been a joke that could've gotten some response as opposed to a rather semi-dull impact.

This movie did not get a single sound of laughter, a single chuckle nor a mere smile upon my lips. Rather, all that laid was just an anticipation of just how many of these obvious and expected jokes would've appeared.

Now... To be fair, I just saw this flash right after seeing the "How to NG animator god 2" which, though having some problems in the quality of their sound, were original in the exposition of the completely unoriginal. But it still doesn't change the fact that this flash wouldn't get a reaction out of me unless I was already deep into a very jokeful and completely silly mood, by which point nearly anything could get me roaring.. But even then.

You need to work the timing. Work the jokes. Keep the audience on the edge of their seats, expecting or unexpecting the next piece that'll pop up to their face in an outburst of comedy. Work slowly towards accumulating more experience, but without it at the moment, work upon the delivery. Upon the content and refine upon it. Don't make it redundant, don't make it overdone, don't remake a remake or abuse/overabuse memes or overdone jokes.

Fortunately for you, this is the internet, and a lot of people are going to back you up, be your fans, enjoy your work or see the promise in your future flashes.

G'luck
