Reviews for "L4D Short: Starring Louis"

SWEET!

very good job with the left for dead voices and nice translation into stick people

StealthBeast responds:

Ah thank you.

If you only knew how much trouble Zoey gave me... It's incredibly difficult to make a feminine stickfigure lol.

Thanks for the 10.

i like it

i like it but i dont think it deserves a 10, sorry.. ill give u a 5/5 though ;)

StealthBeast responds:

Hm, well thats fair enough! lol. Even I must admit I'm not 100% satisfied with the animation.

........................

forget l4d2 when is HL ep3 comming out..\
?

StealthBeast responds:

!!!

Right?! I got both games as soon as they were ready for pre-order. HL2, and EP1 had some pretty hard cliffhangers, but EP2s was just crazy!

The episodes are nice and lengthy, but they're taking FAR too long...

At any rate... Considering I put many weeks of work into this animation, I would have liked it if you took 10 seconds to justify why you voted so low >=(

NIce work!

it was kida short but stil very nice the only thing i find a bit weird is Zoey yells grenade and they mug louis soooo.... did she blow him up?lol

StealthBeast responds:

Yes actually, lol

A pretty legit tactic ingame too. I believe propane tanks, pipe bombs, and oxygen tanks do something like 10 damage. So especially when they're incapacitated, sometimes it's worth it to blast em.

nice

the flash is good only thing is that the accusation of valve is unfounded. they even made a video about how they were not leaving the l4d community behind. you just freaked out.

StealthBeast responds:

Normally I trust Valve's best judgement, because usually pull through in the end... But this is alot more serious.

As I see it, because they have utterly failed to serve the L4D1 community thus far, we cannot expect that they will be able to do it with 2 versions of the same game... At best, it only halves the rate of our DLCs, at worst, they focus on L4D2 and L4D1 gets left to die.

I highly suspect Valve is going to address the self-evident issues eventually, and as they always do, pull through in the end... But until that happens, I'm remaining in the L4D boycott group.

Before I can trust their promise when they said they'll "continue" to support L4D1, they must first come through with their original promise to provide content for L4D1 (specifically, bug-patches, new campaigns, and possibly new characters and weapons).

At any rate, thanks for the 10. Glad you enjoyed it.
