Reviews for "Ninja Vs Samurai"

COOL

LOL the samurai was hungry after and had no money

good 1st time

For your 1st time that was really good!! There were some odd moments like the stick man. You need a better sound effects repertoire. The swords clanging together sounded like dull metal pipes are times

ooh very good

a good animation
normally an 8 but you delivered om your first time. 10 nice work
if you make a sequel, the action should be amped up a bit.
i.e. ninja runs on samurai's sword and kicks him, samurai catches kunai in the wood of his gedo sandals, ninja executes running back flikick, misses, and sets off a smoke bomb to get back up and surprise attack, you get the idea, yeah?

...

You may be new to animation, but you're not new to drawing, that's why this has some quality to it. The techniques will come to you as you practise.
What I didn't like was the lack of color in the background. Even if it's black and white, there should have been some variation of grey.
Also, the sound FX should've been more frequent to add to the intensity of the encounter.
Looking forward to more of this style from you.

This work inspired me to finish working on my own projects. The attention to detail and muted palette (I've done mostly black and white animations before and it's really tricky filling in white objects on a white background--I feel your pain!). But this animation was so focused and fundamentally light and awesome. This reminds me a whole hell of a lot of my first animation--except I wasn't anywhere near as ambitious to try out fight scenes. Either way, you've got a great future ahead of you as a hobby. Thanks for helping me stick with it.

If you have any questions animating, feel free to PM me.

wow, I'm really glad this animation helped you continue your work! It really is flattering to hear someone say that. I wish you good luck with your projects!
