Good game. Needs work.
Palisade Guardian is a WWII themed defense game.
Graphics -
The graphics of like the description said, high quality. The scenery and the unit models are pretty detailed.
Not much is needed to be improved. 9/10 Awesome.
Sound and Music -
The sound effects are crisp and clear. The in-menu music is quite impressive and it is from the political inspired flash game entitled "The Campaign Game". Despite all of the positive reactions of mine to the sound, I suggest some more music tracks be included in a possible update or sequel to this game. In-game music will help indeed.
In short, the music is great but there is some improvement needed. 8.5/10 Great
Gameplay -
Gameplay is similar to the popular defense game series, Storm the House. You play as a WWII allied soldier, whose mission is to defend a house containing sensitive information that the Nazis want. The game is divided into 35 levels, where you fight it out against various enemies. To fight against the Nazis, you have six WWII weapons. The weapons are quite realistic, with sights included and accurate recoil. I found gameplay to be entertaining and mildly amusing. Though the gameplay experience didn't feel intense. The controls, were quite easy to pick up, and the learning curve wasn't steep. However, a major flaw I find in this game is difficulty. I never lost the game, until the lag in level 34 destroyed the game. In level 24, no one managed to damage the wall. I strongly advise the creators' to add difficulty variation. I also suggest more content be put in. More weapons, enemies and most importantly weapons. It would also be nice to see multiple playable factions. Multiple game modes and upgrades do well also. Most significant, is the addition of multiple levels/battle areas.
The bottom line is that the game is fun but needs some more work to be truly amazing. 8/10 Good
Replay Value -
The game is quite fun but lacks content, custom game modes and difficulty value. So the replay value is not high.
6/10 Fair
