A lot of foundation

I am a fan of platformers in general, so I may be a bit biased. However, I think that there is potential in the game. I would definately like there to be a point system of some type. Examples would be: a bonus depending on how quickly a level is beaten
coins or something of the sort to collect through out the level,
special items that give you a lot of points but are more difficult to get
ect. Also There should be more ways to die, even discluding AI. There could be the risk of platforms crushing the character and all other sorts of challenges. This is just a random thought, but if there are enemies, could the main character have a weapon of some sort? Well, the only ther suggestion I really have is one that you undoubtably have already thought of, but I will mention it anyways. I would personally like for the finished game to have a final boss. Well, I definately look forward to the making of a new platformer =)

I like the idea of having a points system, maybe a grade system at the end of the game. I've also been viewing tutorials on how to create basic 2D shooting games, so I might be able to incorporate that into the flash.

Pretty Good

Good graphic and nice gameplay, though it isn't very challenging

Thanks, I admit the flash isn't challenging but that'll change in the real thing.
I'll also try and make the engine a bit less glitchy as I've noticed the character MC cutting corners.

Good beginning

The up key should be jump, if you're not using that for anything. That way, my hand don't have to stretch as far. Or you could make both space and up keys jump. Also there was a bug, where if you stand under a moving platform, and it comes down on you, it just goes through you, and then when it hits the ground, you jump up on it. I like the music, and the graphics (except for the player). Good start!

I agree with you on having the up key for the jump instead of space.

Also, sorry about the platform problem, I forgot to do all of them ( only two have the "crushing" ability).

Well...

Not too too bad, but there are a few things that could have been better (even though it is a beta version):
bigger level
working laser

I'm intending to do at least 5 areas ( with 3 levels each), these'll be (in chronological order):
Plains
Jungle
Temple ( similar to jungle though)
Sub Zero
Pirate's Space Port
Pirate's Mothership ( similar to Space Port).

I may also incorporate some kind of shooting system.

Solid Platformer

I really think this game does seem to have potential when its finished so i can't wait to see the final product.. keep working on it.
