Corneria, Fourth Planet of the Lylat Sytem...

Let me just start out by saying that, wow. I am impressed! Starfox 64 has long been a favorite game of mine, and this is like the ultimate fan movie for it.

The visuals were good, not spectacular or anything, but nice stylistic choice to make them a litle more cartoony. Also, nice use of blurring on things in the foreground, and more importantly, very good detailing of the backgrounds. The animations were smooth and the characters felt very "alive." The constant blinking and and well drawn emotions really lent to the believability of the characters.
The scenario was very funny, especially the opening scene, "Who are you guys?" "We're Starfox!" I was cracking up because whenever I play the game, I'll quote the game as I play it, and the opening level is a classic.
The "cocky little freak!" line was classy as that level is one of my fav's in the game. It feels very Gundam-esque don't you think?
Over all the Quotes were used perfectly, and there were several momemts that are instant gems. The "Fox that's one of ours!" when Fox throws Bills food is a perfect example. Technically the audio mixing here was very impressive as quotes never seemed to bleed over into eachother, and in most cases if not all, they were clear and not fuzzy at all.
That brings me toanother point: the music. I left the title screen playing for like 5 minutes because for one, I didn't realize that the planets were the play button and scene select and all that, I was waiting for someone to start the game lol, and second because I just wanted to listen to the music. Once again great audio quality!
Now for one aspect that so many flash artist forget to consider is the presentation; however, yours was spot on. The way you get the expository feel of the game with the opening "press start" screen really drew me as a viewer into the movie: al my focus was immediately drawn to it. Also, the layout of the bonus material was just brilliant in its accesibility. Concept art that you could see practically all at once without having to navigate through slews of screens, followed by delted scenes that just started playing right there when you clicked them... it was just top-notch.
I bet you probably can guess the score by now. Because of good visuals, smooth animation, a funny scenario with even funnier Laugh out loud moments, clear and beautiful audio, and first class presentation to put some icing on that wonderful Starfox Fan cake you made deserves no less than a 5 out of 5. And trust me, I'm coming back to the kitchen for seconds, yah Cocky Little Freak!
