Reviews for "Primal War 19"

Could be NG's best...

If you'd take a break to work on your movements, that's my biggest complaint with this series. The concept, I love. The character designs and the whole diversity of animal-warriors looks really cool, especially the mammals and the female characters, this reminds me of all that old good shit from the 80's and 90's. But the sound (not the music) is unpleasant to say the least, as well as all the growling and grunting, I really hope that after you finish this story arc you'll invest some time into looking for voice actors, they're free all over the net, alot of people just do it for fun. Otherwise, it's cool, but I wouldn't watch it twice.

Good.

The visuals were wonderful. The plot however was way too goofy for me to enjoy. And their "voices" were simply awful. If I were you, i'd scrap this and embrace a more logical or realistic story. Perhaps less outlandish.

almost done i see

I'm going to give my honest opinion about this series so far. I believe you've improved greatly from when you first started (no brainer there). But although your animation has been improving i think you are losing the concept that kept me interested in watching this series all the way through. I'll elaborate a little more. My favorite episode is still primal wars 4 because of a simple reason. It was a one on one fight between a beast and a dinosaur. I know the name of the series is primal "war" but the problem i've had with this is you've had too many war scenes and preparation and not enough stand offs. When i say stand offs i mean one on one fights between the major characters. I can see its starting to come around to it again after watching this episode but there has been far too many you've made before that was meant more for plot development and less directed on fighting. My suggestion is spend less time on making the preparation and work more on the main attraction which is what we all want to see! You've got great potential to make this last episode one that no one will ever forget so i hope you really work on what i said. til next time

Hrechkaness-

Room for improvement

The story line seems alright... random dinosaurs vs. random mamals, and then there are some chicks that do fireworks.
Its not deep, but interesting enough. I haven't watched the first 18 episodes, however I think it's safe to say that there's way too much going on here, and I have no idea what most of it even means.

The drawings are alright, but the animation made me laugh. There's even a scene where nothing is moving but the chick's breasts. But the thing that bothered me the most is the sound effects. The un-intelligable growling seems to be re-used several times for multiple characters. During some parts, such as the last scene, you have action with 2 characters and captions on the bottom containing dialogue; this gives it very much of a comic book feel, and I think it's kind of cool that way... in my opinion, the growling kind of takes away from your video.

hope this helps.

Good but has issues

The drawings are all excellent, however the animation isn't consistent. Sometimes it's amazing while others it feels like major corners were cut.

There are problems with the story as well. Because it's been so long since the last one was, out I forgot basically everything that happened in the previous episode. It would be nice if there was a recap, or if nothing else, a links t the beginning of the movie to the previous episode.

These problems are compounded by the fact that the episodes are basically one long move, with no episode specific subplots to help make it more memorable.

In this movie, even the main plot didn't seem to flow well towards the end. On minute the wizard is in her castle or whatever, a second later she's outside fighting the princess, with no scene to show how she got there...not even a teleport or something.

Finally, and this has long been an issue with the series, the sound quality badly needs to be improved. It doesn't do justice to the animation and actually takes away from it.

With all that said, I thoroughly enjoy this series and look forward to the next installments. While it's too late to address some of the issues, making sure the rest of the plot flows smoothly, making sure the animation quality is consistent, and improving the sound quality would really make the final episodes in the series stand out. Good luck!
