As others mentioned, this is the kind of game you can play for a looooong time.
Around the halfway point, I thought it was getting too easy, but by the end it really was intense.
The biggest problem is that mouse clicks seem to be sluggish to respond, especially on menu screens. Don't know if that is my fault, but it is more of an annoyance than a problem, anyway. Besides that, it is a very great game.

I gave up after getting to insane last night but started it again this morning and finished it and got all golds. I love the reactor chamber!! I actually did crash my browser with the max and it stuck me back to where I left off last night. (my fault)
The only thing I didn't like much was the reset button for the skills. In the insane levels you would have to keep reseting the skills for each different level. It would have been easier for the user to just decrease the skills they don't need and increase the ones they needed instead of reallocating everything again (Extra clicks and Click Double Damager were maxed all the time after I had enough points) I don't know if I explained it well enough.
Still awesome game!!! Even though I lost my insane golds I'll still replay them again!

wow i was surprised to find out that that was a really fun game
I didn't really expect to like it and I almost quit a few times when I got so frustrated and couldn't beat a level, but i just kept trying because I was confident that i'd beat every level eventually --so yeah there is a lot of luck involved but I think the luck is really what makes it so addicting, like gambling
anyways, long story short, i too was kept up till 4:30 in the morning beating this game, but i got gold on every level and it felt very very satisfying
as far as suggestions though i don't have too many, the only thing i noticed while playing the game is that there are no medals and those are always fun, i agree with adding specific objectives like destroy all circles, otherwise i dunno, i guess some kind of temporary upgrades or powerups would be cool but this game is really great as it is

I'm SURE that something is different when you use the continue function. I played it earlier, and seeing as I actually spent a couple of hours more than I planned to, I left the game to do some other stuff. Eager to finsih the last few "insane" levels I loaded the game back up and clicked continue. And now it's IMPOSSIBLE! I'm sure that something has changed, seeing as I can't even get bronze in levels I've gotten gold in earlier. I'm one hundred percent certain that something is altered. I don't think that my shapes does the same amount of damage as they did earlier.
Sadface... but otherwise great game. Just not sure I can be bothered to finish it now, seeing as it's very frustrating...
Hmmm... I haven't gotten that complaint before, but I'll do some tests and go through the code to see if I could find a bug like that. Sorry about that! I thought I had caught everything beforehand.
