the animation style is so well executed, it reminds me of some of the saturday morning cartoons i used to watch, goes really well with the song too.

You really got that "crispy" style down, I'd say. The reflections in the monster's eyes are great...your use of perspective and complementary color works well to reinforce that "crispy" style. It's a little tough to get into, but the last fight scene between the monsters is just great. You can really feel the weight there.
