Challenging? Rather impossible!!!

I love it how the authors tend call their games "challenging" when they managed to make an (almost?) impossible game!
I played it on the easy mode, becouse haveing limited lives in a game like this is just "too much of good". I appreciate having a mode with unlimited lives (thogh I think this is the only mode in wich a very skilled gamer may have a little chance to beat the game). However I still have to go back to a checkpoint if I die so I need to last between two checkpoint somehow. At first that's easy, but soon the word challenging fits to it. And later spikes and ghosts (man, how I hate ghosts, and any unkillable enemy!) get so numerous, and placed so awkward that in many places it's impossible to avoid damage; and there are much more than enough of these traps to prevent surviving between two checkpoints. That's why this game is not challenging, but impossible!
Too bad, becouse otherwise I'd like it's style. It has good graphics, ok sound, and it's easy to control. I like the characters lines too.
I suggest you to make in the Ep 2 more hack n slash, and less jumping around spikey platforms! I'm sure that would be more popular.

Pseudolonewolf responds:

It is not impossible. It's possible to get through the entire thing without being hit once, and some people have done it, too; it's how you get an S rank at the end.
It just takes actual skill and practice to achieve that...

Make cross-browser compatable

Developers need to come to the realization that not everyone uses Firefox. over 25% of the population in America still uses IE6 and another 20% using IE7 and above. Even though IE sux.. We as developers still need to allow EVERYONE to view our content regardless of browser compatibility, because who are we to know what restrictions are placed on the computer your user will be using?...

...Other than that I found the game... meh... the graphics are great for a pixalation platform. It's not my cup of tea of though, I require more action, than solving a route that leads to death every 5 seconds...

Good work 7/10 + 3/5

Pseudolonewolf responds:

I haven't the foggiest idea WHY it doesn't work in IE though; I only became aware of the problem after the release and I don't know how to fix it.
If I'd know from the start that IE would bugger up the controls for no good reason, I'd have coded the game in such a way that it wouldn't break, but as it is, I'd assume that the only way to get around the IE thing would be to completely rewrite the game's control scheme or something.
And I'm not doing that.

moonwalker!

he keeps moving and not jumping or crouching when he shouldnt. please fix and i will play.

Pseudolonewolf responds:

Use a better browser than IE and the problems will magically disappear.

good game

one problem though, when i move around using the arrow keys it seems i get stuck moving left or right and i have to tap left and right to stop. it might just be my computer or the game im not sure.

Pseudolonewolf responds:

It's probably because you're using IE.

im waiting for part 2

wish it was longer :)
