Reviews for "Toybox"

JEEZE.

While the secret ending was hilarious, I felt the game was WAY too difficult to justify such a "Meh" ending. I can only guess what the normal ending entailed from what I've heard and observed, and it seems to me that it was even more unsatisfying.

Despite these (less-than-minor) quibbles, the game was still enjoyable, and extremely well thought out. The atmosphere was just great, invoking an unshakably foreboding air of palpable dread. While the endings may have spoiled it for most, I found the overall experience to be rather worth bearing.

Useless

Great game, until the computer glitched and I couldn't go any further. 1/5 2/10, massive bug that needs to be fixed.

Very Entertaining

Was Well thought out and reall entertaining

Nice

I thought the secret ending would involve the guy getting murdered or something. But other than that I thought it was pretty good. Pretty creative, and a little difficult, (took me a while to do most of it) but I enjoyed it . Looking forward to seeing another one or something similar to it. Keep up the good work.

Just too hard.

Hey,

I mean, playing this is really unsatisfying. You got these crazy-ass puzzles only the wuzziest puzzle-nerd could solve, then puzzle after puzzle after puzzle after puzzle.
What's the point of a game, in 90% of the people can play it only with the walkthrough, anyways?
*spoiler*
Oh, and you know what? I just played 40 minutes with a protagonist, only to find out that she will get horribly raped, tortured and killed anyways! Hooray!
And for finding out what -could- rescue her, I've got to play through all this creepy stuff again, just great!

I know you put much effort in this, yeah, the music and the artwork ist... very well done. You captured the atmosphere really good.
Still, I feel disappointed. I don't think computergames would still be produced if they made their players feel stupid and disappointed.

Anyways. The game still is very well thought out. Good job, but next time - please - let a usual mortal also be able to play through it (without walkthrough).
