Haven't had this much fun for a while
Honestly, this was an awesome game,
It took me 40 days to beat it though,
xD
I didn't get it at first,
But in the end, It rocked.
But there was one glitch I found, if you really want to call it a glitch,
I got 6,000 ft before getting 4,000, and I didn't get the 4,000 achievement.
But again, nice job on the game : D

I absolutely ADORED this game. I rarely give 10's, but this was absolutely fantastic. For your first game, the accomplishments that this merits are beyond explanation.
Graphics: Everything was drawn exceptionally well, carrying the same light-hearted theme throughout the entire game.
Gameplay: Although the game starts slow and you cannot begin to truly appreciate it until the third or fourth day, the replay value speaks volumes, as if you get addicted to the challenging plight of this small bird, you WILL be stuck playing this game for hours.
Humor: At first I wasn't sure what to think, but the intro, the gameplay, the upgrade comments AND the ending, all had me laughing.
I can honestly say the awards are well earned and I greatly look forward to any further creations.

i think its one of the best games here on newgrounds, i love it, sometimes it was kinda hard, but most of the times it was just great, nice artwork, very cute penguin,
the end was funny, and original, first it looked not possible to me to get at the 6000 ft. but then i saw the review of spaceherbie, i followed his instructions and it worked, and now i know penguins can't fly, not even with a glider and a rocket, and they will never can.
Wonderful Game
Besides the cuteness factor and the great overall feel to the game I think you did a great job with balance. My best is 19 days. I have no idea how one reviewer did it in 17.
For some hints, note that upgrades cost the same even if you've gotten the previous level, so it pays to only upgrade one attribute per round, because you can put it at the highest you can afford.
To go the farthest distance you need to keep your speed as high as possible without going into the redzone because this gives you the most lift and is the most efficient. I ususally use the rocket off and on keeping the speed close to the redzone, then I lose altitude to keep that speed until I'm hovering above the water. Finally I just hover above the water until I completely run out of speed.
