Nice game, could use some minor improvements
After playing it multiple times, there was a Clear Saved Data feature on the main menu, but no actual saved data. It was always start at the beginning with nothing. Therefore, what is the point in having the saved data (if that were the intention), and if that was not the intention (ie. starting over every time), why not add a save game feature?
Again, this is only a minor issue, but it's one that I think you should consider on your next project.
It was fun at first.
It was entertaining at first, then it just went off, it just needs more.
However I'm impressed that it's your first flash game, that is a good achievement.

Even though this is the first flash game you've ever made, it's actually the best I've ever seen. The music blends with the game, the graphics are clear, the contols are good and the gameplay is awesome. Not to mention the originality too! Good going!
Will you make a sequel?
I just found one little problem on the game. The replayability. I reached the final ramp and I already unlocked ALL upgrades. So now the Research Funds are nothing more than numbers and scores. Could you make a secondary use of Research funds?
