Reviews for "Tankmen: Incursion"

camera and mouse controls please.

graphically, this game was superb, a real triumph.
and the game play shows a lot of potential as well however, the camera made it really difficult to dodge the enemies shots and the lack of mouse targeting meant it was hard to hit the enemies provided you knew where the hell they were.
also, my own personal gripe is the recoil on the gun. when you shoot, you are pushed back. on the rare occasion that you see an enemy shot coming, and you jump to dodge it, if you fire in mid air, the effect is multiplied. this will sned you flying off the edge really easily.

all in all, it shows a lot of promise and makes a few mistakes because its trying to do too much.

Sigh...

This would be one of my most favorite games if it wasn't for the stupid camera...
No offense though.

Nice on

Very amazing graphics and nicely developed, but the gameplay itself isn't that good as it should be.. But overall pretty cool game :)

Cool, but lacking gameplay

It looks fantastic, but the game took a backseat. Would make a good movie.

Fantastic Graphics, Impossible Camera

I'll start off by saying that I'm a fan of the tankmen series, but I'm not judging by that series. The graphics, for starters, are fantastic. The big headed look for the 'human' characters is funny, if not necessary. I thought it a quirky/cool effect. Playing the game is really hard though, between enemies that simply wander through walls and the camera. Worst part about the camera is that firing your weapon seems to jump the screen even worse. If the shift was a little more gradual, and if it paused before slipping back from zoomed out, it would improve the effect much. I, personally, would only zoom in as far as is needed for jumping as well. I'll be looking forward to a perhaps updated version of this, or something more refined based on this engine.
