Hey man! Reload the game, wait until the load bar finishes and "Play" displays completely before you press it and you should be good to go. If you press Play too quickly (i.e. before the little load bar animation is complete), it hangs for some reason.
This is a known issue I'm looking into.

Nice idea. Not mind consuming but fun nonetheless. I would think it would do better as part of a modern game Game & Watch compilation though.

read the instructions (you have to pick game a or b first) and look up game & watches if you don't know how to use them. Also did you know kratos has big knives (and not long arms)?
You really should learn to read the instructions/author's comments before you decide it doesn't work and vote zero.
