Reviews for "Stamper's Quest For Fags"

Could be better.

What really bothers me in this game is the bees tha go right in the middle of the screen and can't be avoided and also the bees that go right above the cacti. but other than that this game is quite good.

Really great !

this is just great, reminds me of OrangeRunner and we play as Stamper ! and there is medals !!!! This is just awesome.but there is only one thing that i really hate and -2 points for that. THE SOUNDS.

Incredibly terrible.

I'm not gonna split hairs with you here, this game is bad in every way, shape and form.

The health packs, cigarettes and bees are floating backwards. This is the only explanation as to why they are moving so much slower than the (stationary) cacti.

In order to avoid the cacti, you have to be on the far left side of the screen and hit the jump button as soon as they appear on the right side. This effectively negates your ability to move left and right as if you try it, you take damage from every single cactus since you can't get out of the way in time.

Very frequently (even on easy mode) I ran into situations where a bee and a cactus formed an impenetrable wall that was impossible to avoid. If I was high enough on the screen to avoid the cactus I was too high to avoid the bee and vice versa. It's never a good thing to place the player in a situation like that.

Pick ups and bees spawned below the ground, out of the player's reach.

In conclusion, this is a game where, if everything were done perfectly, would have the potential to be a minor amusement for a few minutes. Along the way a large number of negative aspects were introduced, thus the minor amusement is transformed into a nuisance that just isn't fun.

Ways to improve:
-change cactus speed to match bees and pickups
-avoid situations where the player can't help but take damage (bee right above cactus, player jumped to collect pickup and hazard enters the screen in their path, etc)
-I'd also suggest reducing the height of the player, this would allow them to fit between bees and cacti (as long as the player can always get in between them or over the set it'd be all good).
-It would probably also be a good idea to reduce the speed of pretty much everything by a factor of 2 or more. Make the player feel maneuverable rather than helpless to what comes into the screen.

You're just butthurt because you can't get the last medal.

Bad.

4 for the art, but everything else is terrible. If you fix the glitches it could be a decent little mini game, but with them it's just annoying and not fun at all. The hit box on Stamper is awful. You're going to hit the bees almost every time if your anywhere near them because it's off by quite a few pixels. When you clear a cactus you still lose health because there's also a large invisible hit box on his feet.

The cross that gives you health takes away half of your health a lot of the time. Sometimes it gives you no health at all. You win medals every game you play even if you unlocked them, which is extremely annoying. The game starts right when you click the mode you want, so it's very hard to get a good start when you click then have to move your hand down to the arrow keys in time before you run into a cross that takes away half of your health. A five second start would be a lot more convenient.

Just not a fun game at all even if the idea is kinda funny.

Coming from the man who is 1,000 times better than me at Flash.

:(

LOL!

This game contains life bar like cock ^_^. Why this game is not contain like mild nudility? ^_^
In anyways - this is a good game, but really hard. Animation is good, music too - that's grate! Only one thing is bad - life bar like cock and cigarettes, cos it really big problem of many people, espcially in my country (I am living in Russia)...
