This is well put together and I can see some potential for this.
Improvements include adding the note you play, customizable controls and maybe more of a sexy interface.
Excellent song choice, expecially S.O.A.D. and Metallica. Trying to perfect Lonely day at the moment. :)

It isn't exactly pretty, but I see potential for this. It is also a bit on the difficult side to use. Unfortunately I'm not sure how to fix the difficulty problem, I think it's mostly due to the fact that it is on a keyboard rather than the neck of a real guitar. Perhaps if you could provide music in-game (as tabs and whatnot). Full songs, instead of just parts of songs like you have listed on your comments would be nice. I've been trying to figure out the rest of Metallica's "One".
Currently this is just a gadget, but it could be modified to become a full-fledged game.
Hey, ya the keys might be a little bit hard, plus you can't accommodate 6 strings perfectly on the keyboard, most of the songs might not be complete since it's only 5 frets, so a song has to be chosen that stays within the 5 frets range so it would be complete. Thanks for the feedback

The "tabs" you added were good, but it gets boring quick especially that you can't play triad [3 note] chords. Good effort though. If chords worked, I would've "tabbed" out the intro of "Battery" by MetallicA.
I don't think it's possible to have 3 notes played at the same time with the keyboard, i think the max is 2 and even that doesn't work all the time.

This game is good, but I wonder the notes come from GUITAR, not piano.
Are you asking if the notes i used are from a real guitar? if so no, they are generated with pitch control, maybe the generated sound was from a real guitar but then the pitch was shifted around with the computer
lag
this game lags a bit. tis very hard to play if its off.
It sometimes lags during note changes, that is the keyboard response, it isn't lagging for me when i play a note though.
