I loved how you made the story for this, it made me cry at the end it was really emotional, I know hoe the boy feels about being alone so I can relate to this really well.

I always enjoyed little shows or stories like that it made me happy, then sad and all fuzzy in every good way possible. The animation was simple and cute and it works well with the story and the music, which was great by the way.

I just recommended this to 'serious shorts' like you requested. I just wish there was something else I could do for you, Man. Because you just brought back some bittersweet memories from when I was a kid. You really have a knack for creating atmosphere, through ambient scenes, music, fast character development and typed dialogue. Great job on this, PARTICULARLY being your FIRST animation?!?!? What are you, like an prodigy or something? Heh heh heh Oh, and you say you got your entire idea from a picture you found on Le Interwebz? That's crazy! I mean, really. You almost made me cry with this piece, Man. That's not an exaggeration either. I loved this movie. Heck, I can't wait to go to your userpage and see if there's anything else there for me to get emotional over. Ha! Thanks for sharing this with everyone at NG.
