Cute but nothing new
Cute game. The code for the balls needs to be edited a little. Make sure you use local variables for checking and modifying the ball kinetics BEFORE setting the actual flash "_x" variables. This will solve the glitchyness. Otherwise all in all not bad.
To others who are struggling (SEMI-SPOILER):
25 is hard cuz its the last. Key is to get it away from right and left (so you don't have to move up and down paddles) and just keep it as centered as possible and bounce up and down for top and bottom pattles.
