but for some reason I thought it was pretty funny and even though the animation wasn't the best, the art was still decent

One thing I would've added, perhaps some shameless jokes at the expense of the multitude of female teachers who've been busted for...putting in overtime...with their male students. Also, didn't get the whole "cat eyes" thing.
