Reviews for "A paedophile story"

yeah..

that's how it iz. a vicouz circle~!!~

Uh, yeah...

So paedophiles should eat their own candy? Seems selfish!

It's true that child abuse tends to get passed down but that's generally non-sexual child abuse.

The leading researcher on paraphilias (some university lecturer in the US) thinks that people are born with them, and there's also a lot of evidence that they don't usually tend to give in to those urges. Child molesters are more likely to be rapists after an easy target than paedophiles (not to deny the two overlap, but the assumption that they're the exact same thing is very flawed).

My own research on perversions and criminology aside; I'm not sure what "deep" message people are seeing. It's a different way to show it but I've seen similar, and the fact that child abuse is passed down tends to be through the family, whereas stranger attacks, as this seemed to be... Not so much the case. And as someone who's met people who went through sexual abuse as a child, I REALLY don't like the implication that they're permanently damaged and themselves a molester waiting to happen.

Generally it was alright, but I get the feeling the only deep message people are seeing is that "paedophiles used to be people too" before they turned into monsters.

I liked the animation style though, and that it's getting dazzling reviews from everyone else shouldn't be impacting my score too much, so I'm moving my initial reaction up to 6.

were you abused?

this cartoon looked nice, sure, but really I didn't get the message you were trying to convey, it seemed to just be senseless aggression towards paedophiles, congrats on the right spelling though :)

Senseless

Up until the rat monster, just a standard look at the issue (though well animated), but then something randomly intervenes and tears a guy to shreds? It's weird that you'd choose, as an author, to punish the character such after going to such lengths to demonstrate a circle of effect that the characters have no direct way out. Any meaningfulness in this feels entirely forced, rather than genuinely deep insight.

nope

Stereotyping pedos sends you to the 7th level of hell
