i also use fl studio to make tracks, but i find it near impossible to find the right sounds. you have done something i havent been able to conquer yet

Great song!

The track is very active in terms of elements. However, there is a fallback that puts the song down: The frequencies. A major part of the song escapes from the headphones. When I put my headphones at a certain distance, I can hear the high frequencies very loudly.

Try to preserve the song elements more inside the headphones and don't let them escape through them. Pressure your headphones into your ears and you'll notice a decent change.
If you manage to do so, you won't hear much when you distance from the headphones, which means that the song, as a whole, is accommodated inside them.
