I hope people will read your comment, check the referred-to site, and actually play this game before voting down on this submission. This is similar to the other fishing girl game in terms of graphics and game mechanics, but the gameplay is actually quite different and creative. Both use the base created by another artist, and are part of a competition, so this is ABSOLUTELY NOT STOLEN OR COPIED. I found it to be very fun, and although I've played the other one all the way through, there are creative and new things about this one that make me want to play it all the way through. I like the wide angle that allows you to see more, and very much like the lighting-up hearts to help you gauge the power of your cast. That's clever. Thanks for making it! I'm sure it will pass the 'wife test' with flying colors. =D

Great game!
I played the other "lookalike" flash game somebody previously mentioned and I enjoyed this one better. I enjoyed the chill, laid-back music and I had some good fun catching fish and reeling them in (sounds boring, I know). I loved how you could get upgrades and get different bait for larger fish and I had a kick when I killed those sharks. I did start to get a bit bored near the end, and I kept getting my bait eaten by those damn turtles. You should fix the shark as it seems to be a bit glitchy because when you reel it in he seems to just lurk under the water. Apart from that, I have no other things to pick. Great job whether it was coped or not.
