i believe you can make very good videos, just sit down think of a good idea and make an awsome stick movie. i also believe this should make it in, not to boost your confidence, but when (if) you are big in flash, you'll be able to look back at it and laugh! =D good luck
Put in stopAllSounds before the song plays.
If you put that command somewhere in the flash before the song plays (perhaps as part of the onRelease function for the menu button.), that should solve your sound problem. (It might look something like menubutton.onRelease = Function {stopAllSounds; gotoAndStop(1)})

try putting a stop all sounds command in an empty frame just before you play the music again
