Reviews for "Zelda: UO Epis:7"

Amazing.

I have been watching this series, and I was a little surprised to see a new episode had been released. I think that, to say the least, I loved this episode more than any other so far! It's so well-done!

Honestly, though, the only problem I saw involved volume changes. Minor, but existent. =D

Finally, I want to say that this is a refreshing flash animation for Zelda fans everywhere. It's a great show of love for the series, in my opinion.

WOW

Freaking AWESOME!!

It was an excellent episode, and now I cannot wait till the next one.
Your drawings have improved and so has your animation.
Keep it up

Wonderful job

That was awesome, pure and simple. The story you have created is highly innovative, delicately playing with new material while giving nods to the games. For instance, the comic shown when Link hears Zelda's name and Large Break being gi-freaking-normous like the guy in the original weapons shop were great nods, and Zelda is perfect-subtle, mysterious, and most of all very powerful, yet vulnerable at the same time. However, the innovation is what I like the most. Your Castle Town is by far my favorite of all time-in the games, it was always bustling, but didn't feel like the Metropolis of Hyrule that it should of. Note here. The design for it is also great.

Diggs is a walking punchline, and fills in the comic relief gap perfectly. Largebreak was the classic stereotypical big guy with the heart of gold, and while it may have been unintentional, I can't help but feel that the shield discount was a nod back to OOT when the guard at the gate of Death Mountain let you get a discount (or one for free, I can't remember which. However, a few of the characters are a bit lackluster. Not to the point where it's annoying, but it does feel kind of off. Link in particular seems a bit to out there. I'd try to get him to be a bit more cheerful, and use a few more expressions. And Korogra is still kind of a mystery. Random guys that help other random guys are a always cool in my book, but it would be cool to have some mention of some backstory, or at least delve into the errand he was running. A few of the Palace officials seem to be hard to get, as they see so little screen time. Obviously they will be fleshed out a bit as the series goes on, but jumping into new characters and then having them dissapear can be a bit alienating.

Tingle however was hilarious, and I'm glad you put him in the series. The way he met Diggs was hilarious-"Did you just sniff my face?!?!" Pointing out minor flaws in the animations and drawing is pointless, because all that must have took a lot of freaking effort, and it all looked tight and wonderful. The action was kept to a minimum, which really doesn't matter, as I find the story aspects as if not more interesting. Also, one more small complaint I'm sure you've heard before, the music sometimes drowns out the voices, which is greatly helped by sub-titles, but still could see some improvement.

Overall, amazing job. The run-time was great (the longer the flash, the better for me), the graphics were good, the world you've created with Zelda as a template is truly a wondrous one, and your skills improve with each one of these you make. I can't wait to see the next one, good luck!

Awesome review! My only real complain about the review is that you had some complaints, but gave me a 10 out of 10. If you have anything to say about the animation that you feel would improve it, then don't hive me a 10. 10 is for if you feel it was flawless.
