I've seen this idea come up a few times in Newgrounds. I don't remember what the name of the game was but it was exactly like this, only it was an archer firing instead of a cannon. So I couldn't give you the points for game play originality. I saw a few minor bugs but I won't list them since the reviews before me already covered that. Also, when I got the ice bullets, it sucked very bad damage-wise and it cost me the game. I suggest a weapon toggle feature in which you can switch which type of bullet you want to use. Lastly, the upgrades and variety of soldiers were very few and the upgrades were not that hard to get since you can just sit and pick off soldiers while you watch your money rise. If you are making a sequel, don't make the money rise by itself and make the upgrades a little harder to get, like raising the prices a little more.

Now for the good things I saw ^_^. The animation was smooth and the physics was about right. Though the variety for the soldiers on our side wasn't very extensive, I liked the new challenges that I had to face on every planet. The audio was crisp and clear but a bit repetitive, the soldiers didn't pull anything stupid, the upgrades worked, and the concept was well-executed.

Not Bad

As others have said its glitchy but that can play in your favor or screw you over.
For those having trouble send just enough enemy's to hold the line and save up each level to get the upgrades and dont go crazy with the cannon unless you have to once you get Ice Bullets if you can aim well its quite easy as you can just lock them in place and about 15-20 of the first unit is a good wall to knock the knights back so thy will be 100% useless against you.

The glitch I was getting a lot was with the Ice bullets I was almost screwed on the level that sends waves of 4 in sets of 3 and Air units, but ended up saving me as it started to freeze multiple enemies at once...even ones it was no where near hitting, was hitting ones in middle of screen and freezing them and anything that was half on the screen was freezing too! A 4 group that had only 2 in view was having entire group freeze and anything that passed them was freezing as well Know this from seeing it and getting upwards of 100-150 money when the group i was actually firing on died the 2nd frozen group would also die and i'd get enormous amounts of money
