You might have timed out from the game, luckily the game keeps track of your score so you can go back and die to submit your score again.
Fix the lag
An unplayable amount of lag. I see others have made this comment and some have not, so I don't know what the deal it. Definitely not my Internet connection or my computer's capabilities though, as I've done much more graphically intensive stuff, even on NG.
I'm wondering if maybe it's not too compatible with OS X? Better check.

this game fails for a number of reasons... u can't shoot while ur moving for no reason, which means u have to let go of the move keys so that u can stand still to shoot.. but ur ship doesn't stop straight away, it slows down, and ur just stuck there waiting to be able to shoot.. It also fails on laptop touchpads.
