Ehmm..glitch?

I got pretty far but when I repaired my Primary gun it was stuck in the corner of the screen for some reason...and you couldn't see where it was shooting,but you could hear it,and it even dealt damage.

Good, but loads of the features don't have a point

I've played all three of the StormWinds games, I even paid for the premium version of 1.5. Unfortunately, I have a bit to say about the game, and I have a couple of suggestions that in my mind would make the game better.

Carry over your turrets/money from previous campaigns. Campaigns take a long time, it really sucks to finish one then have to start the next level with nothing again. A lot of the strategy of the game is leveling up your turrets, so when you work so hard on your Duel Machinegun only to loose it in the next level really does hurt.

Auto Turrets. Personally, I really don't see why I have a base which can have multiple turrets, but i'm the only person who can drive them. It feels like i'm playing Battlefield 1942 on a Battleship, and I have to drive, man the anti air guns, man the main guns, and repair the ship all by myself because I'm the only person on the ship. I really think you could improve this game by making it so that your turrets fired automatically.

How I would implement it would be like this: keep the current ability to control a turret, but the turrets you are not controlling attempt to fire at the enemy. While you are in a turret, it's rate of fire, damage, and accuracy are all increased, since you know what you are doing, but your other four turrets are not just sitting there gaining rust.

There are like 20 different kinds of turrets in the game, all unique, but I see no point in using half of them because most of the time I need to be in my Dual Machinegun defending the place, so I don't have time for the slow ones like the Mine Cannon.

I don't mean to criticize you, the game is very good. The graphics are amazing, and there were no bugs that I could find. What I really think is the problem here is that there is so much wasted potential. From when I played, I found that I never used most of the turrets, because while they looked cool, my ability to deal damage was always reduced when comparing it to one of the basic turrets. This really should be something to look at, because I think that the next installment could be a fantastic game.

I hope that my review has given you food for thought, I really did enjoy the game and I don't want to sound negative. Defense games are my favourite genre, and I really do like to see good ones like this :)

solar gun?

I've beaten all the game only using different machine guns, sniping cannon, walls and some times buffs. Before the last wave of the last campaign i said myself: ok man, i should try something awesome, i have 44k now and after this wave i will buy this solar cannon and some solar stations. And at the wave the boss came and soon it was all over :).

Besides, cool game. I believe that different sets of defence exist here (regardless of the fact i used only one:)). The game doesn't become boring and easy when you get a cool gun: new types of enemies keep coming providing you with new problems :). and yeah, the game process is not like: get money - buy gun - get more money - buy cooler gun - etc. and this is awesome because you need to try different stuff, to look how it works, to use your brain. Something cheap can be really useful. And yes - experience points for guns rock ;).
Did i mention cool graphics and no bugs?
As a result, all these makes you play the game with great interest till the end. Thanks to author!

Cool and Fun

I thought it was really fun, the big ships are nice and i didn`t have any bug problems.

Fun...for a while

Although the game was fairly simple, i was frustrated when switching to the second campaign. All my guns that I had upgraded were lost and the money I earned from the previous level was gone as well. I understand that by the second third campaign I'd be able to afford the best weapon if I could keep my income, but it makes the gameplay a little more fun for the repetitiveness of it. Let me keep my income and weapon for the next campaign, make the swarms slightly harder to balance it, and possible allow me to fire multiple turrets at once and I think you'd have a fairly solid game for it's type. Musice and graphics were good for the type of game, but maybe add a little more variety to the music.
