Reviews for "SparkChess"

Hrmm..

It looks nice and shiny but being forced to move only in set parameters (no. not those defined by chess rules) really subtracts from the fun and strategy of it all. Otherwise, nice. Alas, this is a fairly big part of the game so I can't give it a great score.

I'm not sure how to interpret your comment. All I can say is that this chess game is respecting FIDE rules including the "en-passant" one. If you have noticed something unusual please send me some screen shots at:

Thank you.

......Dude

since whe nin chees cna u have 3 queens at once???

liviurene responds:

In theory yes, it is possible. In practice a player can promote a pawn to any other piece taking in account a faster victory.

good entertainer

great to do on a rainy day, i would make the AI less retarded on Advanced.

liviurene responds:

Hi. Thank you for your comments. Regarding the AI we have to choose between processing speed and processing "depth" (ply). We have decided for an "entertaining" option i.e. a quick play. For those who really want a strong opponent there are several other options like "ribka2". For those wanting to find out more about this game I would recommend to visit our company blog at:
http://blog.richnetapps.com/ If is plenty of technical data (maybe more interesting for programmers) but it can give an overview of game development.
