I never like this particular type of game, but I believe you did a great job with adding a nice menu screen and your own twist. The graphics are nice as well as the music.

Well done, really! Maybe the game gets boring around map 4, not challenging, but however it's a good work.
Overall nice game, despite some drawbacks
Just lost on map 4, so it indeed becomes challenging with progress :) This keeps it interesting although there is little change between maps otherwise - same enemies and same towers. Graphics are very cute, still :)
The biggest drawback is the element combinations, I guess - I saw no logic in them so I kept pausing to view the Combination List (thanks for including that!). The accessories also drove me crazy sometimes, when I was waiting for that one which increases the chance for special effects and it never came, but you can't complain much about free bonuses :-P A pity you can't change them after placing them...
Bottom line is, I intend to spend an hour on this here and there until I hopefully finish it. Well done!

Difficulty.
Seriously, this game is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too hard. But I guess that's what'll get you the plays though, people will keep coming back to it until they beat it I suppose.
