He's a vigilante anti-hero, which is still a hero
The animation is okay. It's not stupendous, but it wasn't the main focus of this story, after all. The "voices" were interesting. I can't help but feel annoyed whenever the sound for the mother's scream is used. Maybe I've been tricked one too many times when I was asked to stare closely at my screen with the volume raised. I don't fully understand what those "muggers" in the scene ten years ago were trying to accomplish. If they were broke, why decide to ransack a house? He has no superpowers, but he's really athletic. Wielding axes is really different from what you normally see (although those are really hatchets, but no one cares about classifications). Is he going to get a buffer look? I mean, axes aren't really that easy to use, and the guy throws them as well. I liked this flash, but I don't really think it's strong in anything. Hopefully, you can write more dialogue or narration to further explain+expand this story. Why does he mercilessly kill those three people in the beginning, for instance? The third person, frightened, was treated the same way his defenseless mother was. I guess that falls under the whole vigilante/anti-hero archetype, but it's still strange to me.
Superhero?
Superpowers? Yes, but I don't think you can call him hero when he kills defenceless people, that last mugger in present time should just have been knocked out or tied up.
Anyway nice choice of song, and I kind of liked that when hoodlums wants to get f'ed up on sauce, instead of robbing a liquor store, they just enter a random house and kill without looking for spirits or money.

The Dawn of a New Heroic Adventure
The animation had me doubting at first, but then the story got real intense for me and just captivated me. If you could, make more. Cause now that you captured my interest, I will be waiting for the others with a most satisfying thrill.
