You did ya thang! The only reason I gave you an 8 was that some parts of the animation were a bit jittery (not like the characters but just the timing on some where a bit too stagnant and could have been smoother). Some of the characters could have also benefited from some shadow shading as well like the water dragon unless it was meant to give that dichotomy of realism vs fantasy. IDK I just thought it would help. Other than that, the piece was spot on beautiful! Keep up the great work!

Low Framerate

Great art, but the low framerate made it hard for me to watch. You can double up your frames with F5 in the timeline. Good luck in the future!

Mr Brown, this is simply brilliant! I think you are correct when you say your flash skills need a little work but, that is overshadowed by the expression of your concept! The concept was beautiful and I only wish I had the power to escape like this young boy. Perhaps I did for a few moments while watching your work?! I wish you all the best for the future and look forward to more of your work!!

Great, but ...

Yeah, this is realy great, but I still have a complaint. My first imprission of this was "Wow! Looks so great!" but as soon as the Sealion jumps into the water it begins.
A lot of scenes have things like water reflection of the sky, ripples, shadows and a lot of other things which make a great picture, like perspective and focus. And then ther are a lot of scenes which doesn't have it. But why? Sometimes it looks so different from the rest, one could think it doesn't even belong to the same animation. For Example your grenne Nessy thingy. It doesn't have differnt color shades, it doesn't mirror in the water and ist doesent make ripples when ist surfaces. Even the water surface is dead silent in that scene, and there are some more of these.
Don't get me wrong, this is still great, but if you don't keep up your quality standart in each scene, you will get a different look for each one and that makes it fall apart and it pains me to see something so good beeing spoiled by such little things. You have a good style there, but keep up your standards, even if it takes longer to make, it will pay of afterwards.

Hey..

Really nice work and I consider myself hard to please. The animation in this flash can be a little bit dodgy at times, but you've really made up for it in the lush visual styles. Loved the concept, so different from most flash submissions on this site.
