Reviews for "Sundays"

yay!

this came out really good stibby. the seal does need work but all in all i really like the way you finished it up. i'm rpoud of you!

Well animated and dreamy story

A well animated story with matching music in this one.
Obviously the author has taken his time when desiding what scenes that should be included and the way things should be drawn. A proper storyboard perhaps?

Sceneries are beutifull with alot of detail, and realy gives me that summer feeling. I like the way you have made frames for things that are just supposed to stay still in some scenes. Makes things more lively.

A few critical remarks:

The timing on the scene where the boy takes flight seems a bit off to me; He takes off then there is a break before he appears in the next "from above" scene that is a bit too long. It made the swooping feeling fail.

The seagulls could have been done better, not that they were done badly, FAR from it; But seagulls glide more than they flap their wings, espessially on a day like that. If you made the seagulls glide on the wind both forward and from side to side the scene "above the clouds" would have semed more right. Also it's beautifull like heck :)

The sheep and the seal looked odd, a bit out of place with the rest of the characters.

A few of the scenes had odd perspective. The ones I noticed were the low flying scene and the "river" scene.

That said - Well done!!

wow

lol work men... congratulations...

I love it!

I liked the end, with the sea monster (if that's what it was suppos to be) looking at him in the window while he dreams. You did focus on the teddy bear like sFaPiL said, i'm assuming that's him leaving something he loved behind? something like that...

Stibby responds:

Hey thanks Ramba, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Yeah, that's sort of what I was going for. But it was more along the lines of how childhood is never truly left behind. There's still a kid in all of us.

the idea itself is brilliant! i loved the relaxed feeling that flowed trough me while i watched this. the art is stunning, but i wold recommend you to use a higher fps and work with the animation a little. keep up the good work!

P.S what fps are you using? it looked like 12 but i could be wrong
