it was okay

I was kinda upset that this was just a demo, but the game was pretty good.

charming

there is very little to do really, it is simply click-and-drag which doesn't call for a $20 price tag. There is a hint of management, but there is no severe downside if you ignore it, and through serendipitous means you end up having the 3-of-a-kind or 6-of-a-kind anyway.
The villagers looked nice, reminded me of Settlers. Upgrade system was nice too.

Unreal.

It is entirely one thing to sell your game and even advertise a demo, but to fool the player into thinking the game is free, as are all games on Newgrounds, and then POPPING the fact that, "Oh, that'll be 20 dollars if you want to continue playing." really grinds me. REALLY grinds me.

I thought the game was amazing. I'm sorry, demo.
Good graphics, gameplay... fuck, I should have known it was too good to be true.

And the worst part is that the demo has 30 minutes of gameplay, so you're deep into it. And then, poof. "20 bucks pls."

Absolutely disgusting. I'll give the game credit where credit is due, but the con itself is dirty and will hurt the overall score of this flash severely.

My advice: Give a warning. Let us know it's a freaking demo.

I liked it ... but the truck froze on me

I played this game two times, and both times the truck froze up on me, once pretty early on in the game play, and the other time after I'd gotten pretty far into the game. With a bug like that, it doesn't quite seem like it's ready to be sold.

And please, there's nothing wrong with posting demos on Newgrounds. I think it's a good forum for demos ... but let us know before we start playing that we're playing a demo. It's only fair to the gamers!

I did think it was a fun game though. I like entrepreneurial games, and I like cute games-this is both. The graphics are good. The game play works smoothly (until the truck freezes). And I enjoyed the upgrades and bonus levels. In my humble opinion, totally worthy of front page. I just wish the truck didn't have that glitch and the description said it was a demo.

Hmm, alright

I thought it was an okay game, but that's about as far as I'll go with this. The graphics are good and everything seems to work very well, although the major problem I have with this is that you are charging for a full version, I mean for me to even consider that personally, I would like to see many game changes, such as upgrades which give you more time to do things because one thing I noticed about this is as you advance, things get quicker making it harder.

Although I'm all for a challenge and increasing difficulty, from this 'demo' of a game, it would appear that the speed is going to get too high to handle eventually. Also, delivery wise, I would suggest not having the credits depleat to 0 over time, at the least you should have had it drop to 10% of what it was originally.

The game itself is easy to grasp and learn, which is good although I don't like how you are forced into a tutorial, that ruins the replay value for me. Much of the game is quite boring as well, after a while it just seems to get tedious, throw in some additional minigames which take the user away from the normal running of the game, maybe at the end of ever 3 levels, just for something new and a way to gain new things.

Although the sound is nice and the graphics are good, as is the animation of parts, I am really put off by the fact that this is only a demo, it lacks replay value and there's not much change through the whole game. It's still quite an intresting concept though, I'll give it that!

3/5
