Reviews for "Slight Axis"

So far..

So far the game doesn't seem too great.
Using the up and down arrows when moving at that speed is extremely challenging (especially with those "extremely touchy" obstacles). I'd suggest attaching the ball to the mouse curser instead.
Also, when you do add artwork, go crazy. Personal artwork is always way better than a generic ball and wall.

On another note, I'd also suggest using NG Alphas section. Thats the best place to submit "in-progress" submissions.

Good luck with your game.

I already see a problem

if you stay at the bottom of the screen you cannot be damaged.

Also, its almost impossible to not get hurt without staying at the bottom.

hmm

Its an alright game and a good concept, but your physics do not match your graphics, if they are truly only thin lines, you should make the physics reflect that or if they are squares as the physics indicate you should change their graphics to cubes to indicate that, I can see from your comments that this is only a prototype, and its not a bad one, but make sure the area to dodge is only the foot of the obstacles, you know what I mean?

Nope....

Nice. smooth animation, and good graphics. and a nice choice of music to go with it. but the overall idea of the game just sucked my ass......sorry.

The game is set more 3d

but the collisions are more 2d.
like its hard to tell whats where and it looks like the blocks are sorta in like a cardboard standee style because the ball moves 3d but because those cardboard pieces seem to be more stationary its hard to tell where they are because it seems they are triggered differently then it would in 3d.
