very interesting

I see what you mean about the genre.

At first I didn't really see the point of the flash, I thought I was going to take control of a character learning different spells, but in the end I thought it was a really neat and creative idea. Besides, I think these sort of things are best suited in this media setting.

Excellent and very creative, I like it =)

Looking forward to more, keep up the good work, just maybe try for some more sophisticated animation for the next one for an improvement ;)

thank you about the genre, really, I'm still pretty sure it doesn't fit in any of the ones I could choose...

as for animations, yea, I can't draw "people" really well, which is why it turned out like this, so I focused more on the spells, which was really the main attraction of this flash after all.

Hmmm

I agree, it is hard to categorize this as one particular genre or type, it is a fun gadget whatever it is and probably very good flash practice as you've done several small animations for it and coding for various buttons, very creative for sure and fun to browse through. I would suggest you do a follow up flash movie of some adventure, and have it based around the character who reads this book, it's always good to have a way to tie things together, and for you, this book might do just that.

Pretty cool

In a way seems like an interactive movie but this is well made. I have a question the stones and traits associated with the elements did you make those up or get them from some source?

the first traits/stats usually are what they're associated to them, the other traits, I just went by what I know is logically around them.

as for the stones, most should be right, but some would me wrong, I went by my personal choice of stones for this.
