Great Job Glas!

I'm taking some time out of my busy schedule to leave you a personal review :)

This is very unique music, definately. It really caught my music, because I havn't heard anything quite like it. Nice rhodes chords, I really like the sound of it too. The drums always seemed fresh, they never felt like the same thing over and over again, which is definately a common problem with electronic music.

Very well done, 5/5 from me :)

Thank you sir! I was really excited on how well the bodhran and the standard drums meshed on this one.

The organ line was influenced by St. Germain...acid jazz is teh shit!!!! lol

Only got a few words

those words are WOOT WOOT. This shit was so cool. So do you Make these with Other ppl and record it with an ok mic.So your a group of ppl or do you use a program like FL 6 or Reason?

P_P

Triskele responds:

This I made with Acid. For my Celtic tunes, I have a live band...or used to. Now I'm just doing all the instruments alone :*(

If by s'cool

You mean SCHOOL, then we are tight. Like THIS. *tries you push hand into own head*

Haha, Sorry.

This song is very funky. I liked the whole entrance to the e-piano. The seriously delayed drums are a small problem, though... they sound really awkward?
It doesn't sound like they have a particular rythym. Oh, you brought them back later in the song. If you just had accent 16th note strokes instead of trippy stuff, they would sound fine, but.. ah sorry, I'm picking on that part more than I should =/

The rest is great. I like the guitar work (ALL of the guitar work) and the rest of the drum work was awesome. Good work, keep it up man! Could you drop by my audio page and review my tribute to 6/6/06? I would really appreciate it =)

Triskele responds:

school...what? I'm confused.

The drums are programmed in straight 4/4, then offset 1 beat. I like it :P

Very interesting piece.

What exactly is Bodhran? I've never heard of it. This reminded me a lot of Underworld, mainly because of the jazzy Rhodes motive.

Anyway, it's very cool and your parts work very well and original together. The guitar is a little off-tune though (tuned too low), and the drums are a bit too soft and need a deeper beat.

When that intro thingee kicks in again, it gets really beautiful. Well done. A high 8/10 and 5/5 because it deserves a way higher rating.

Check out some of my stuff too!

Triskele responds:

Bodhran is the traditional Irish drum...info can be found at http://www.ceolas.org/instruments/bodhran/

Anyways, thanks for the review. I really like that ambient track, and I thought it was cool to re-introduce it into the piece later on.

I'll look at remixing it as well, to see if I can get the drums louder and w/out distortion

Cheers :D

's cool =P

I really liked the diversity in this one, from an old-school begining, to some fast-paced techno, with the same melody, made it both original and diverse. I could also see the effort in such a long song.

I hope this review was helpful!
