Reviews for "Onihime"

Wow

Your FBF skills are very impressive. It flowed well and it was very smooth. The only critique I can give is that when you do close-ups, you might want to tone down the line thickness. Other than that, amazing job, amazing story, amazing everything.

P.S. Sorry for the 9/10, I can't biased ;)
P.S.S. I did give you a 5/5 though.

stoners-lunchbox responds:

With the closeups i got kinda lazy and rather than FBFing some of them (like i should've) i decided to tween in for it instead. After all, getting that kinda sequence right is a pain, and after 2 or 3 tries i accepted that i wasn't ready to do that yet, so i opted for a close-up the old fashioned way. Either way, i like how it turned out, and when i'm just looking at it without trying to pick things out it almost doesn't look like i made it, which to me it means that it turned out good. ^^

Excellent entry

Frame by frame was amazing, as was the cinematography. My only critique is your grasp of anatomy, but that's nothing practice can't help.

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Yeah, unfortunately grasping Sonic's anatomy from EVERY angle is something that even after all these years i still have trouble with. To be honest i haven't drawn his head from the back-bottom side of it, which i should look into, which is really the only angle i truly have problems with (sonic's head in the final spinball charge sequence DID look kinda butchered, it took me 4 tries to get it done on one cel alone). I'll get it at some point, and when i do i'll make sure to produce something that's really awesome.

COOL!!!!!!!!!!,but

I thought that it was cool ,but it dose'nt have no talking.

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Since when is it a rule for a motion picture to have dialogue? :/

Nice

I liked the story and the animation style. It reminded me of the opening sequence to Sonic CD.

stoners-lunchbox responds:

To be honest, the fact that Sonic CD had such an awesome animated sequence at start inspired me as a kid. I always wanted to see Sonic in a cartoon made by me and i finally decided to give it a shot. Glad you liked it. ^^

i dont get it

but it looked cool so 4/5 and 8/10

stoners-lunchbox responds:

I don't get it either. I tried to make sense out of something that i dreamt of myself (which should make me worry, because if i can't make sense of my own mental pictures, something's amidst). Meh. It came out looking pretty awesome. Moar happy for me.
