Introspective indeed... anyone who bashes this game for its questionable content can rest assured; they have no sense of humour, so they cannot possibly harvest the emotional and spiritual growth the game offers. ;-P In fact, out of all the content on this very website, rarely does a creator capture the very essence of the intended theme so well as to cross the line between mediocre and tongue-in-cheek. ^_^ Make no mistake, I was fooled at the outset, but once you get the experience under your skin you'll realize that there is a fine difference between what you expect from this game and what you actually acquire should you approach the game not as a game in the typical terms, but a >contemplative art game<, as the creator so fittingly called it. And that is all I can say about that.

+2 for using that music in the title screen which I can only describe as the music when you die (for the 1000th time) on IWBTG.
+1 for the duck hunt reference. I didn't know the duck had a gun of his own till the hunter started running. kinda funny, and awesome when it becomes a fps for the first guy, then a side scroller.
+7 for the lameness at the beginning. It certainly separates the men from the boys.
hint: It has nothing to do with drowning. Everyone who said so is trying to throw you off. Try "flying".
also the space level was kinda glitchy. I keep falling through the floor at the second crater and I couldn't do stuff. The powerup at the other side has me curious though...
all in all, an excellent game. Although its named a sim, it really reminds me of alien hominid and contra. prequel anyone?
