A great tune, smashed way too hard.
This song would have had more impact if it hadn't been crushed so hard by a compressor and/or limiter in the master. It appears to be popular to do this, but this only means it gets turned down as the dynamic range of the material, and I do love that song mate, approaches that of of the worst offenders in other genres.
It gets to be too much like noise and it's very fatiguing. The "mastered" version on mediafire is a lot worse in fact.
Please keep in mind that you don't get to pick the listening volume of the listener. This gets turned down dramatically by Replaygain(-10.5dB) and Soundcheck(probably a little less). The mastered version overloads the MP3 codec all the time and is highly fatiguing.
Great song. Fatiguing, tiring, "I need some quiet after this" mix.
