For some reason, after I help the child, my screen stays black. The game seemed interesting, but, oh well

Good game. Ending C is a bit difficult to find.
Ending C: Let the first boat kill you. You can make it faster by pulling the bombs towards yourself (you have to hit your eyes).
Cool game! alternate endings...very cool
This is a lovely game. Only complaint is that it's way too short.
