It was okay.
The animation was okay. Are you even using motion tweening? If not, you may want to consider it. And a story would've been nice.
However, I found this pretty funny, and with a little practice, I'm sure you could be a great animator =)

music: 9/10 simple mario music always is great.
animation: 7/10 good animation and funny.
movie itself: 6/10 to short, could be a bit longer to really make it funny. but still i cant complain about it.

Pause/Play buttons need some fix, they do pause the animation, but not the sound or music. And uh... well, I didnt see a lot on the animation for some critics, since its just experimental. I can say you can add some extra movement to the sprites, or give more animation to a single sprite.
