As opposed to its predecessor, Armed with Wings 2 offers completely different experience. Not only we start as a main villain from the first game, we're given a great variety of abilities.
While Lone Warrior swings his sword, Vandheer Lorde is able to figt equally as good with his fists and legs, as he does with his blades, which now have unique abilities each. Also, Vandheer Lorde lives up to his previous title of Water Master, by casting ice shots. But wait. there's more! Using his unmatched powers, the King can lift up and throw enemies around with terrifying power. And, finally, he can jump. Not only that, he can do charged jumps and even do aerial attacks, which give his jumps even more height.
However, there are issues. Mainly with jumps. When you decide that it is time to jump, Vandheer will stop and knee, preparing to make a leap. Nothing problematic. While you're not on the run. Same goes to landing. Vandheer will land, kneeing, while sliding around without ability to correct his trajectory, often resulting in death during some parts.
What really stands out in this game is how well soundtrack suits it, despite being taken from a different game. It took me a while to find every bit, but I did it.
