Reviews for "It's Cold Inside"

very good

it was great, the animation style creepy but excellent, and it had a depthness to it, nicejob dude

Very good.

Unique, great design and animation. Great use of colour and sound.

Only downside was the slightly cliché ending.

Great, artistic and beutiful.

It was all good, great artwork, nice little story, not too much emphasis on his state of mind, I really liked it, but to people who say hes never been in love so he doesn't understand love and that's the whole point, well, with a mentally sick/disturbed person, (ofcourse this isn't the case with EVERY person with that problem) well, doing something as what this guy did, he probably didn't really understand himself why he did it, ofcourse he bears a motive, but the motive could easily have been that he'd seen a black cat and understood that the feeling he had to make love to this woman was a feeling he should encourage. Mentally sick/disturbed people does NOT have a common sense logic, their logic is spun around >disturbed<, and basically the point isn't deeper than that, but I still think it's creepy enough. I myself got mistaken for being mentally sick because I didn't act as the "normal" kid when I was young (fortunately that misjudgement was quickly rejudged by a shrink) so I got interested and looked into it a bit more, yeah and somewhere in this rumble of words there's a point, whatever ENJOY THE FLASH :)

...ok

i admire the creativity and story but honestly it was lacking i just didnt feel it

*shrugs*

this sort of thing is incredibly subjective, so i shouldn't really criticize it - it was never meant to be mainstream enough for that. for what i've seen in experimental films though i felt this sort of missed the mark for the heavy mood it was going for. it did however employ some interesting transitional effects before the titles came up, and haze over the preloader screen looked really good. that may have been a drawback. the preloader looked cool so i was expecting a little more.
as for the writing... it was nothing new, very easy to telegraph the lines, but they were cued well to the images.
it would have been nice to include more hand drawn sketches, primarily at points that lacked words and needed a punch, like the last few seconds of the short where he's looking down. but, whatever. you already said you weren't going to check back so this is pretty futile :\
