Come on, really? This couldn't have had been created by the same guy who created the Bitey of Brackenwood series. Because that amazing flash artist is a wonderful storyteller, but this flash features one of the most overused Santa jokes. Alcoholism. I mean come on! The movie Bad Santa starring Billy Bob Thorton, was based solely on that joke. That movie was released in 2003, but you say you though up this silly little idea 4 years ago, around 2004-2005. You shouldn't be celebrated for regurgitating ideas and making 1 minute flashes out of them. Now I'm not going to say that this flash was all terrible, as usual Adam Phillips captivates the mind with his exquisite art skills.
This saying is really over-used but it does describe the way I feel about this flash, that saying is: A really shiny turd.....is still just a turd in the end. My point is simple, if you're going to make a short movie, just don't make it unoriginal, it's befitting to your actual talent. You're much more creative than that. Don't get me wrong I do love your work and that is why I had to tell you that you shouldn't sell out like this. Be yourself, create your own jokes and stories to animate instead of overly done jokes. I'm only giving this a 2/10 because of the amazing animation featured. But we are used to seeing that from you. Stick to what you do best.
