Reviews for "The Room (Dubstep Remix)"

I freaking loved this! You need to make more The Room mixes. This was amazingly well done. I think I want you to be my future wife, but I don't want to talk about it.

RAVEN responds:

Oh hai EyesAdrift! You are my favorite reviewer.

It was already said, but I too enjoy how well you worked the Room theme in, as well as varying up the vocal clips so that they're not repetitive.
Keep up the good wub =D

RAVEN responds:

Thanks Rushtastic! Glad you wub the track, lol. When I first started I had no intention of using the actual theme music of The Room, but rather, created a small segment of the melody as my lead synth. Then I got the idea to sample it and have it fade into the conversation in which Johnny cries out with the most memorable line in the movie: "You're tearing me apart Lisa!!!" Turned out a lot better than I'd expected, and I'm glad you think so too. Thanks again for the review! =)

Sweet. A fulfilling, dirty cacophony with crunchy wobbles and crisp audio clips. Having not seen The Room yet, I'm now quite interested in how it inspired this amazingly-produced "remix" of yours. Keep up the good work!

RAVEN responds:

Thanks BananaShoryuken for the constructive and detailed review! I'm glad this has given you some inspiration to check out the film. As I said in the description, it's laughably bad, but definitely worth the watch. I will say this though: the music is AWFUL! Best of luck making it through the gratuitous sex scenes with horrible, cheesy "love-making" music that sounds like it was pulled out of a compilation CD titled "Worst of the 80s: Romance Ballads To Ruin a Relationship With." Anyways, I digress. Thanks again!

I like how you managed to work in The Room Theme so well, and you also managed to keep the song going for 4+ minutes without it seeming repetitive. That's a big problem a lot of The Room remixes have, they repeat one thing too much and become boring after a minute. This stayed catchy the whole way through.

RAVEN responds:

Thanks! I felt the same way about other "The Room" remixes. They seemed to just drone on forever and focus too much on using humorous dialogue than actually focusing on the content and structure of the music itself. I aimed to use just enough dialogue to make this a genuine tribute to the film, but I also made sure not to go overboard by only sampling Johnny's lines and The Room theme while emphasizing the actual music. Thanks for the review, and I'm glad you like what you heard!

Nice Job.

RAVEN responds:

Thank you! =)
