I liked this defense game alot! Maybe if you could buy your new guns instead of being awarded them? Also maybe you could add some auto turrets and/or mines to buy? Really good submission over all.
Not bad
Not bad at all, a nice variation on defence games. Just a couple of things:
1. Although the weapons do steadily do more damage, they are actually less and less effective because of decreased fire-rate/range, while it's too expensive to upgrade the lower level weapons to do enough damage to hurt the higher level ships. I reached the level 15 weapons on my first try, and had to spend about half of the time with nothing to fire, because the ships all stopped and started firing out of range of the flame thrower and the bombs took a long time to recharge. Maybe make the re-charge shorter/range longer when you upgrade or something?
2. Give us a save button, please! I know lots of defence games don't, but I wish they would :) Re-doing the whole thing is a little frustrating!
3. The range of the double guns is too short. I can't reach things coming in from the right and left until they are halfway up to me.
But despite all that I did really enjoy it, good work! Keep on making more :)
