Not bad for a first try, though the movie quality looked suspicious and it stopped in the middle of the story. Try to expand a bit.

this isnt bad for a first flash. it could use a little bit more of a detailed story and a longer one at that with more situations like a death in the family or a breakup. maybe go through a day in the life of the character instead of just the morning. you can also take this in a few directions like making it funny or serious. all you need to do for the animation is smooth it out some and yes, slow down the text scenes. but again not bad i'm sure you can take this further with a little more time thought and effort. if you change this i want to know.

not bad for a first flash, however portraying the emo attitude does not still make sense to me. honestly they are nothing more than attention whores. ohhh god i cut myself now feel sorry for me. i dunno maybe its just me. i gotta say however its nice first attempt, better than most ive seen on newgrounds. i look forward to seeing more from you.

some advice?

preloader, for one heh
you can use a NG preloader, just search for em on the site or ask in the forums where theyre found, im not too sure myself

also, making sure the images fit the stage, it just looks better but theres no mistake black edges, because the images were too thin

its all about appearance, not bad for a first try, bit more of a plot would of helped, but good none the less

If this is really your first flash, then you've done pretty well! Keep at it, and you'll be better in no time.

But the reason I gave this flash a 7 is not because I felt pity or something for the fact that it was your first. I rated this high because, even though it wasn't really a fantastic quality movie, I liked it. And in the end, that's all that matters, right?
